I haven't been yet, going to wait a few more weeks before even going to look around. It only holds 5,000 people and people are/have been standing in line just to get in place. Plus, they only have 2,100 slot machines, of which (according to the casino web site) only 200 are poker machines.

Do know a couple that went over the past weekend, the lady hit for $1,250 and can tell everyone, that they take State tax on the spot. Federal tax is up to you, if you want, they take it.

Another thing, the lady witnessed a guy hit a $1,600 jackpot, he gave his ID and SS# for the W2 paper work and he got $0 with the W2, seems he owed some child support, so it all went to the State. Not sure if they are doing that for ANY THING owed to the State (like back taxes), or only for child support.

Just a side note, as for the State tax, the lottery issues a W2 at $600, so I do not know at what level the W2 is issued at the casino. Also don't know if it is withheld for only State residents or if it is taken for ALL???
