[vpFREE] Re: Vegas trip report

Good questions, Tom!

1 - I didn't notice the AC issue at MSS. You'd think if it was too cool it scare all those Hawaiians away!

2. I end up with only a couple of small charges to room at MSS because of the coupon books, so I don't bother to ask host about it. If it was more than $10, I probably would.

3. Comps are no different, as far as I know, whether you play the 10-7 or other less full-pay machines.

4. We always used to go to the In/Out burger on Tropicana, even though it seemed super crowded and often seemed to be the possible site of a gang-related shooting. But this time, on a busy Saturday night about 9pm, because I was in the parking lot behind Sports book at Bally's, it seemed it would be easier to take Flamingo over to Maryland, and then down a few blocks to the In/Out. And it actually WAS super quick and easy, and there was hardly any wait in line. It will be our new spot for this annual tradition. We totally avoided Strip/I-15 traffic this way.

5. Another great question. I mentioned to our group that red/black has a 5.26% house advantage, vs. about 2.1% for pass line, but they said they'd rather stick with the tradition we'd started with, which is roulette. So there you go.

Good luck on your next trip!
