I don't get over to the Palms all that often, but I have been there on
occasion to use up my points for the Breakfast buffet. I wouldn't call it
horrible by any means, just a little more "sparce" that you'd expect, even
comparing it to the Gold Coast across the street.
I still find enough VP worth playing there to justify a stop and when I've
been there, the drink service has been on a parr with any other of the
hipster joints.
I'd be curious to find out from the folks that have had bad drink service,
which side of the "tipping" arguement they come down on? (In other words,
do you get in there enough to get a reputation for tipping or not and do
you think that makes any difference. And what kind of tip do you have to
leave to get a phone number?)
