The new management (Gary Loveman) types that are changing the gambling landscape believe that demand for the Las Vegas product is still strong. This is incorrect. Casinos will continue to spread into other locals as long as their chief product is gambling instead of the bs on the strip. The casino building growth halt is the first step toward an eventual reduced demand for Vegas. I hope I am wrong, but Casino management doesn't know how to milk a good play. They are headed full speed to burn it up.
