No, I have never met any of the folks you mentioned. When I have met "bust outs", as you call them, I did not consider them to be real professionals of the caliber or type I was used to.
When I have met them, I probably just called security, rather than conversed...and so doubt missed many an opportunity for interaction.
Folks in the progressive team biz very rarely bust out, they just retire rich.
