[vpFREE] Trip to Atlantis 6/17-6/20 impressions

I just came back from a trip to Atlantis Casino in Reno. I left with the following impressions. Atlantis still has good VP but you have to work harder to find it. A lot of MG machines have been downgraded . You best bets are at the bar tops, elsewhere you need to be very careful before playing. I saw a lot bad VP at Atlantis where there use to decent YP. Example the MG machines located just outside of Keno. Major downgrades. The MS machines are still present and are a lot of fun to play.

Atlantis has some of the best low limit double and single hand dealt blackjack around. Most game minimums are 5.00 and On off hours double deck was at 3.00. The dealers are very good and a joy to play with. This alone would be reason to visit the casino.

The comp system runs on points. Where one point is the equal of .01 in spending value. I getting a 1 point per 12.oo of action on good VP. 1 per 8 on bad vp and slots were about 1 per 6.oo The comps spend just like money in their restaurants. I do not know about the gift shop.

The indoor pool was a surprise. Being on the 3rd floor it is out the way. But it is good size and the water was warm to seem in.

Bad news is the buffet and the blue Parrott coffee shop have gone downhill since my last visit. The food was just barely editable and the prices were as if it top notch faculty. I suggestion is avoid them when when comped. The other restaurants are good to excellent. As for Breakfast I suggest you head to the peppermill for a decent meal. I will next time go there for breakfast.
