The closing of the Mint high limit was bound to come, it was dead up there every time we were there (except for a few minutes before a specail drawing). After the departure a couple of weeks ago of some of the hosts they brought over from the Mirage a year ago, it is clear they are pairing back all over. I really do want the Palms to remain independent and not fall into the CE umbrealla, but with loosing our two hosts our non-CE stays will likely go to the Cosmo where our host went.
