Been using Ubuntu for about four years now. I love it. On most of my computers I have both systems as I still need Windows for a few applications that I cannot do without. It is easy to install both systems and "dual boot". And I'm not even a computer nerd. One program I still use Windows for is Bob Dancer's VPW. But WinPoker works on Ubuntu with WINE (Wine Is Not an Emulator). I can also play at Poker Stars with WINE.

I have also enjoyed Linux Mint, which is based on Ubuntu but different in its own way. It's quite popular.

Again I say, I am not even a geek, but I have read that people have left a computer running for over a year with Linux/Ubuntu and not had to reboot. Try doing that with Windows!
