This is true in Vegas as well. Seen it done many times. The largest carry over Ive seen was on wheel of fortune when IGT moved a jackpot over to the .25 denom and it was over 4 million. GVR spread a discontinued jackpot progressive over most of their .25 progressive poker banks ,making them all over two or three thousand at one time.
