I know that is true in Indiana as when they are about to remove a
progressive, they post that info on the machines. Bob Dancer benefitted from
one of those situations when a $100,000 progressive at my home casino was
changed to a different slot with a $50,000 progressive. The extra $50,000
was relocated to a $5 VP game which he knocked down a couple of years ago.

Subject: [vpFREE] Progressive Question
Hi all,
I think I remember reading here once that if a casino has a progressive
jackpot going that hasn't been hit, and they want to discontinue those
machines in their inventory, that they have to reassign the jackpot money
somewhere else? Or do they have to keep those machines active until someone
hits it?
Does anyone know what the truth of it is? I'm curious about this.
Thanks,
Valerie
