Actually a scary scary day. I got tired of being ill at home for several
weeks and decided to go have some veggies food at Charlie's buffet. BTW, they
for the first time ever had veggie pizza, never seen that before.
The scary stuff was seeing new banks of machines both slots and video poker.
A row of 8 uprights were replaced with 6 glitzy uprights etc. That means
they expect the same return from 6 machines that the 8 removed ones provided.
The really scary thing was I saw for the first time "Wheel Poker" Horrible
short pay VP with a spin the wheel for extra coins if certain hands were hit.
A noted player on this board stated a year ago or so about downgrades at
Mesquite, "The gravy train is over." Now it really is.
