That's total crap and nonsense, and an obvious lie.
I know a few players who can play 1300-1400 hands per hour, out of the
hundreds of pros out there. 1800 is out of the question, and that's with no stops
for W2-Gs (or other breaks), which occur every 400 hands or less on a $25
machine.
Realistically, on a $25 machine, even if you have an adjacent machine or two
in reserve, 900 hands per hour would be pretty strong. And for 24 hours, it
would be very impressive. As for 1800, dream on!

That's far from impossible, although it is excruciating and more than a
little masochistic. I've had a few sessions where I averaged 1800+
hands per hour for over 24 hours. Of course that means no food breaks
and not even drinking at the machine (so you don't have to go to the
bathroom). But if I can do it, that means plenty of others can as well.
