Yeah I guess, I should have explicitly stated that I am talking about
single line, as counting all hands on multi-line would
be "cheating." As far as accuracy, since I don't have a buzzer that
goes off letting me know that I've made a mistake, I can't give you
an accurate estimate of how many mistakes are made. But I am
positive that I make more mistakes playing at that rate than I would
playing slower. I will notice a few mistakes after I make them, but
I am sure that more go unnoticed than noticed. But from the results
of the measely couple of years I've been doing it, I run right around
expectancy so i would venture to guess that I can't be making too
many mistakes. Of course, having a sample set of only a couple years
worth of play may or may not be large enough to be indicative.
Obviously, everyone could double their hands per hour if they always
discarded everything, but I'm sure that would get old after you lose
$10K on a nickel machine :)
Now unfortunately this is starting to sound like bragging which isn't
my intent. The purpose of my original post was just to state a
matter of fact that it can be done. And if there is someone out
there who isn't playing at that rate and is always trying to increase
their hph, I'm just letting them know they can do it. I have no idea
what the upper limit is; these are just numbers I can do. But I do
know that I am not the fastest of the people I know.
Obviously most people don't really care what their hph rate is, and
I'm not suggesting they should. I just always got impatient in
between jackpots and mini-jackpots so i kept pushing myself to get
more and more hands out. My posts are really just geared as
encouragement to those with the same neurosis :)
