Well, not really, sad to say. In the long run, it would have been far
more beneficial for him to take his friends' advice, throw the hand
away, and lose $250. Surely the lesson that would then have sunk in,
namely, never to listen to his idiot friends again, would have been
worth far more than that in the long run :)
