The nearest casinos to Tallahassee are in Gulfport and Biloxi, MS. I have never driven from there to Tallahassee, but I would guess they are about 3 hours away. I-10 goes through both cities. All Mississippi casinos are very liberal with meal comps, and you can usually find good VP at the .25 level and up. I have never actually been to the Gulf Coast casinos, only Tunica, but have heard good things. Most of them are brand new as well thanks to Hurricane Katrina. I would call the individual properties about overnighting in the parking lots.
