I was going through my records for my poker playing for 2007 and
finished them last night. I nearly doubled my yearly income last
year, but made an interresting discovery (this includes on-line and
live poker games I have not gone through tournment winnings yet)
$1-$2 Bank Roll $200
$28,000 w/4 bust outs
$5-$10 Bank Roll $1,000
$10,000 w/1 bust out
$10-$20 Bank Roll $2,000
3,500 w/0 bust outs
$25-$50 Bank Roll $5,000
$2,500 w/0 bust outs
Total $44,000
I made $48,000 last year as a photographer. The interresting
discovery was most of my winnings came on the low stakes table, has
anyone else noticed this in your winnings. Do you think I should stay
on the low stakes $1-$2 and $5-$10 or should I move to the mid stakes
$10-$20 and $25-$50 instead?
Either way I have decided not to quit my day job and not move to
Vegas :)
