Re: [vpFREE] End of yahoo groups

IIRC, joining Facebook requires only an email address, and that can be one from an anonymous emailer which can setup your email, allow you to retrieve messages or I believe even forward the emails to another email if you wish.
I belong to Facebook only to participate in another forum for a favorite author and to play in a freebie online casino that that video poker. No friends, no messages, no likes, no tie to me at all.

I had a couple people recommend io.groups. I don't know anything about it.

For people who don't like Facebook, one idea would be to join FB but do not add any friends or do anything except go to a new vpfree group on FB. You can limit your privacy that way and avoid most FB features.

Anyway I am very saddened by this, having been with the group in its several incarnations stemming from the Skip Hughes days. The end of an era..
