AYCE buffet at Palms is now offering unlimited champagne and mimosas for $10 extra with any meal (lasts up to 2 hours). On Sunday it is served free with brunch. Tip - arrive around 3:30 pm pay lunch price and at 4 pm they put out a few changes including excellent French Onion soup.
Gold Coast Sunday buffet brunch is one of our favorites with free champagne, chocolate fountain, strawberries, delicious cupcakes, big desert selection (much better than AYCE), salmon, shrimp, great omelettes, carved beef and turkey, etc. etc. Use your club card for a discount. (Keep an eye out for half price coupons for Coast buffets in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Usually I Friday Neon section, but not last week. Check fine print for which days they are good for).
Rio buffet on Tuesdays 50 points for locals (you may need to get the Local Advantage brochure), swipe at Kiosk.
Giada's - (Cromwell) we had a really delicious meal there. They have a price fix menu, but I think you are better off ordering on the menu. One advantage of the price fix is the desert cart, which is no longer offered to people using the menu. I had a great lemon soufflé though, from menu. I do not recommend the specialty lemon spaghetti though - not enough lemon. Chef Giada has now opened a second restaurant in Caesars Palace opposite Rao's. Sorry I haven't tried it.
Suncoast - Little restaurant near sport's book has good hamburgers, and a few specials like Fish and Chips for $8.

Also Free Variety Show is at the Suncoast 2 Wednesday's of the month. Very entertaining with a variety of singers, sometimes acts that are appearing, etc. Different "themes" each time like disco, Chicago, etc. Excellent for Free. Check B connected online for dates or call them. Next one is this Wednesday at 2 pm. Swipe card at kiosk for entry.
Wednesday is also Coast's $4 movie day for seniors. When you are a senior these discount movie days are great. I believe Red Rock's senior day is also Wednesday. Currently Palms has no senior day, but movies on Monday are $5.
Palms - construction outside continues and is even larger. Walking from main entrance to west parking is hazardous now, with no separate walking area.. Best egress is that door in between main exit and old west exit, but even so, be extremely careful. West garage is finished for parking, just be careful walking to casino from it.
Near Palms - construction has begun in that lot to the East of Palms for a new shopping center. It will include a drugstore and other stuff.
