I hope everyone send an email to Boyd or talks to the hosts to let them know how you feel. It can be done constructively.
Harrah's did this last year and did back track a little after the backlash. I just don't understand how they can just make it all effective overnight. I am sure it all falls under the fine print.

The 2x tier point multiplier is only for Ruby and only good for 100 points. It's basically worthless. Tier points have no cash value except for generating tier status. There are no longer any multipliers for tiers. IMHO tiers are worthless anyway once you reach Sapphire. Yes you get some annual gifts and trips but mail offers are all based on your ADT not your tier. My advice is if your close to Emerald at the end of the year go for it but otherwise there isn't much value anymore beyond Sapphire since everyone is earning points at the same rate. I wouldn't go near a Boyd property now unless it's an 11x multiplier day.
