I stopped going to the South Point for the same reason. They actually had the nerve to tell me that they only comp losers, plus their offers to out of towners are virtually non-existent.

Subject: [vpFREE] South Point comps for oput of town guests
I inquired of my host at SP about coming in midweek for a couple of nights later this month and she offered a room at $46.50/night plus taxes, fees and a $21/night resort fee and she would check to see if there would be any comps available upon checkout. Website price for off the street bookings was $51.50 plus taxes, fees and $21/night resort fee for the same nights. I play about $30K per night on 9/6 Bonus Deluxe or JOB.and used to get suite and limo with some food. They apparently have gone to a system where only losers can get comps. I've always liked SP but not with that system. I'm an easy keeper also. Hate to see it go that way because the SP was very pleasant for those of us in our 70s. YMMV
