Re: [vpFREE] Re: New BConnected

Funny my 10,000 puny points are viewable on the website. Talk about being unlucky...changes start Monday, of course, I arrive for a week on Tuesday.

I can't imagine everything will transition smoothly Monday. During a recent trip all kiosks crashed Tuesday night, and everyone got same seniors day multiplier on Wednesday.

The fact that they announced the change, and are implementing it so quickly tells me two things...

 1. They want to make more profits (or were "losing too much" ) with video poker.

2. The company implementing the new system must have a good plan to transition.

Don't think the value of those 700 000 points will change during the transition. How many points you have made change, given this tier credit stuff  reminds me of Caesars system.

Was going to ditch my rental car, but now will have to go elsewhere to build up some play.

Btw Boyd social media won't dish til Monday

I don't know if you saw my previous post, but I had about 700,000 points go "missing" yesterday from my Bconnected account. I've been getting the runaround from the casino, they say they can see the points but have no way to access them.

Do you think perhaps they could be freezing up large amounts of points because the system is going to be considerably worse come Monday?

I don't like to post information that I got second hand but here's what has been circulating from yesterday's preview parties.

Video poker will be $2 coin-in per point up from $1. Tier credits will be calculated separately from regular points and based on theo.

Promotions will be based on tier credits earned instead of regular points earned like this August 29th donut giveaway shown on the Sam's Town website - "Earn 30 tier credits to receive free Dunkin Donuts®!"
