It is against Missouri and (I believe) Kansas state law to comp alcohol. We live about 2 hours south of KC and prefer to play at Ameristar casino. It was originally a station casino and was build much in the same fashion as Sunset Station in Henderson. We've played at all the casino's in KC and prefer Ameristar for VP. If you play at the quarter level there are 'full pay' machines at the circle bars upstairs. My wife and I generally play multiline nickels at the bars downstairs. There are a few full pay machines in the far corner downstairs that are "Double Royals" which pay $2000 for quarter royals. One reason we stay and play at Ameristar is their hotel rooms. The are pretty nice and Ameristar has become very generous with comping rooms.
