A little bit quicker would be to take 4th Street instead of Las Vegas blvd.
It's one way and has less traffic.

Need a little traffic advice. I'll be going to/from rental center to down town this week & next on Thurs. nite. I wud normally go 15. Understand construction is pretty bad. Am I better off on Paradise/Las Vegas Blvd? Also will that construction affect my travels on weekend from downtown to/from Speedway? Thanks!

I-15 northbound is a mess from around Flamingo to US 95. From the airport I would take Paradise north until it merges with the strip around the Stratosphere and continue on the strip to downtown.
