[vpFREE] Re: Jean Scott's Frugal Vegas LVA BLOG - 8 JAN 2017

Jean mentions a casino that backed her off for winning $248. What a joke, but sadly not that rare. It's important to make a distinction between casinos that will back you off for winning any amount over zero, casinos that will back you off for hitting a dealt royal, and casinos that will back you off for hitting a royal. The dealt royal you can't do anything about, it's purely luck, you can't even throw it away, the machine locks up. As for hitting a royal, you can alter your strategy, I suggest max-non-royal strategy, to change your odds of hitting a royal while still getting the max return from the other hands. As for winning any amount over zero, you should maximize your dollar variance, just as in loss rebate promotions. In this case, the reverse Martingale is an excellent option, on many slots it is an option that a casino key person can turn on for you called "double up". Otherwise, you can move up in denomination when you win a certain amount, either doubling up or busting out your win from a lower denomination. The goal is to either win big or lose big with nothing in between, if the casino is going to back you off for any win anyway, you may as well make that win a big one. Once you get backed off, play at other casinos until marketing resets your account, or get a different card number with a different ID and address.
