Re: [vpFREE] Win loss statements

I'm amazed that you found casino employees who were willing and able to tell you how their win-loss statements were calculated.

I've looked into this before just out of curiosity. The best procedure for me was to ask a slot club attendant for my actual win/loss for the day after I quit playing. I then compared that with my own information to see how they handle downloaded free play.

I was comparing my records to the casino win/loss statements to see if they were close.  I called 2 different casinos to determine if the free play amounts are included in calculating the win/loss amount.  One casino said the freeplay amounts are not included they count only my cash as coin in and not the freeplay.  The other casino said just the opposite.  The freeplay counted just like my cash in the coin in amount.

It would make sense for the casino industry to have standard accounting procedure to determine player win/loss statements, but who knows.  The other issue is that including freeplay in the win/loss calculation increases the player loss on the win/loss statement.  I think the casino would like the players to see a smaller loss on their statements (actual cash lost instead of cash plus freeplay loss).

Does anybody have good information on this issue.
