What is being staked or risked of ones value? Ones time? I do not
believed that ones time is risked "by showing up to the casino in order to play
their game which is presented as a game of chance". What is the risk? Was the
time lost? The time was used whether one was at Sam's Town or elsewhere,
other then six feet under the ground.
This is a gimmie. A freebie. A throw in. An extra. An added. Yes, let's get
the Gaming Board involved because the casino is giving something away to
us as a bonus that they do not have to but we don't like the form in which
this give us this bonus for free. Great idea. Brilliant. No wonder some
people kill many good opportunities with greed. No common sense.

Where are you getting your definition of gambling? According to the US Code
5362...(1)Bet or wager.—The term "bet or wager"— (A) means the staking
or risking by any person of something of value upon the outcome of a contest
of others, a sporting event, or a game subject to chance, upon an
agreement or understanding that the person or another person will receive something
of value in the event of a certain outcome;
So the operative phase does seem to be "something of value". Don't you
agree now that you are investing something of value by showing up to the
casino in order to play their game which is presented as a game of chance?
