If you get a 2x multiplier you can earn 20,000 points and get 20,000 points added which totals the 40,000 adjusted points. In the case of a 3x multiplier, only the first 13,333 points you earn will be adjusted, which adds 26,666 points. In my case this did turn out to be the final result.
Steve, I think your interpretation is incorrect. If you get a 3x multiplier and you play 13,333 --- yes they will add 26,666 --- as they should. But if you play 20,000 points, they will add the maximum 40,000 as advertised. If you get a 2x multiplier, you can play 40,000 and get them doubled.
There have been others in this thread who have basically written the same thing, but your post indicates you were still confused/disappointed/ something.
remember, the 40,000 is the maximum bonus AND YOU GET TO KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL POINTS. So getting 3x on 20,000 points ends you up with 60,000 --- which is indeed 3x. 40,000 is the bonus and 20,000 are your original points you get to keep. 13,333 has nothing to do with it.
