I tried this in my last visit to Harrahs Reno. Doesn't work. SInce I am 7* they will refund the cash advance fee, but I have to cash advance the credit card, THEN pay off the marker. I called the Total Rewards credit card, and you do not get any points for cash advances, even in a Total Rewards casino.
