Does anyone know exactly what triggers the Caesars Vegas properties "congratulations you've won a jackpot" bonus free play mailings? We've been playing a lot more at Caesars pAlace and a few other Vegas properties lately, and now in addition to the Vegas locals "privileges" booklets with free play and food coupons, we are getting these additional mailers, and they are a nice bonus. Just got one for $500 for me and $200 for my hubby, good til 3/22. That's a lot of extra free play. While it says "congratulations for your jackpot" as the only clue as to why we are getting this, I was the only W2G recipient. However my husbands card was in the machine for a couple of W2s, so if that is the trigger, that could be why. But exactly what correlation eludes me - could it be $50 per W2 received or $10 per jackpot over $1000 or what? And is it for play back in December or jan. Or ???
All I can say is that it seems mailers have improved a lot in the last couple months over what they used to be for Caesars Vegas properties. With these extra mailers, the privileges booklet, and regular offers for free play or gift cards and tournaments, etc., plus ordinary benefits, Caesars is finally competing well with "locals" Vegas casinos. Also they are catching up with other Caesars properties from around the country which used to give us far better offers than Vegas properties for the same play. Of course the VP schedules are pretty poor, but then pay tables at "locals" places have been getting worse too.
Well if anyone has ideas on exactly what triggers these bonus mailers, please let me know.
And I'm glad I can finally get just as much in bonuses by staying at home (Vegas) and playing, instead of flying to Biloxi or Tahoe etc. from Caesars.
