People sometimes leave +EV slots at no-lose "Xmas present" levels (when it doesn't matter if you min-bet or max-bet); e.g.
9.97 on "hit by $10" ($75 for $1 meter)
19.90 on "hit by $20" ($200 meter)
49.94 on "hit by $50" ($125 meter)
499.88 on "hit by $500" ($400 meter)
