The Palms posts pictures at its players club for example. Nowadays taking a picture of yourself with a machine is very commonplace. What will casinos do when google glasses and I watches are on everyone? As is, it is hard pressed to confiscate all the cellphones. What gets me is some entertainment venues, like Caesars Colleseum, still searches for and takes your camera until after the show, but doesn't take cell phones!

I don't think casinos really care about you taking pictures of your jackpot. The rule used to be no cameras allowed in the casino to protect OTHER players identity. If I am playing on a machine I might not want some stranger taking my picture. The security is there to protect my privacy.

I remember reading about a picture of a huge win that appeared in the paper. A bystander happened to be in the background and he was also in the pic. His boss saw his pic and remember he phoned in sick to work on that very day. His boss gave him a short suspension...and the suspended guy then sued the casino for not protecting his privacy. Not sure how it turned out but this is one of the reasons for no cameras allowed.

Hard to enforce now a days but they try.
