> I will soon post an extremely long report on cruise. Apparently some people not only were put on the Aug. cruise, but some latecomers to this offer were put on Sept, and even Oct. and maybe November cruises. Although cruise is sold out, I've heard that a few people were able to get in later, perhaps when cancellations occurred, so those 7* interested who missed out on August might keep trying.

> The Harrahs reception at hotel was AWFUL from my point of view, with a huge line that some people spent over an hour standing in, poor food, not enough seats, and a drawing that could only be heard if you were standing packed in close to the person announcing, so many people did not hear the numbers. Worst Harrahs event ever.
>
> The good news is that the cruise went mostly smoothly with Harrahs doing a lot of extra stuff for us, paying $130 for specialty meals per person and per guest, that actually could be used for anything, paying all port taxes and fees and gratuities, giving us $200 per cabin for shore excursions. Free strawberries, wine, a nice gift, and other goodies showed up regularly in rooms both from Harrahs and from the casino.

> When people had complaints of anything, the Breakaway staff tried to fix or gave you more wine and strawberries or made a refund. My room had a noise complaint and got $200 credit. A friend had bugs in their room -- strawberries and wine and a fast and non smelly exterminator. Etc.

> Ship was beautiful and generally speaking well run.

> The only major glitch was for anyone handicapped in wheelchair or scooters, with hallways near cabins EXTREMELY narrow, and when cleaning carts were in the hall, you simply could not get by without them being moved. I got trapped twice and had to keep yelling for help when stewards did not appear. Pray no emergency happens with carts in those hallways. Handicapped rooms were fine for scooters, but if u had a regular room, scooters and some wheelchairs simply would not fit inside. For those who had a regular room and put the scooter in the hallway or even by elevator to charge, management took their scooters away overnight and you had to phone to get them back, not good at all.

> My personal glitch was that many parts of ship were kept (to me) freezing cold. Definitely under 70 degrees. I had to buy a sweatshirt and wear 3 layers for much of cruise. For those that like cold, like my husband, it was great, and he loved cool air.

> I would sail on Breakaway again, but bring winter clothes for inside.

> More in a few days I hope when I have recovered.
