For those of you that didn't listen to gambling with an edge yet, Bob Dancer was asked whether he had a consulting relationship with Revel. His answer seemed to basically say that he isn't currently being paid by them, but is looking to work for them in the future. In addition, he was in contact with management at Revel before the promotion began.
He needs to go on the record and state when this contact took place. In my opinion, if it was before any radio show discussion of Revel, then not admitting this conflict of interest is an extreme violation of his audience's trust. It was definitely before he wrote his recent Revel article, in which he should have explicitly stated his campaign for work with the casino he was writing about.
He acted as if not officially being paid by them excused his behavior. It doesn't. He sold out the player community and violated the trust of his audience. His excuse, that he didn't want a casino to go bankrupt, is just pure nonsense. If he could take enough money to bankrupt a casino, he would do it in a heartbeat.
