Re: [vpFREE] Re: Revel's Loss Rebate also

I think everyone agrees this is a promotion that you don't often see and probably won't see again because of the potential it has for the player. However, it is also one where looking at it in practical terms needs to take precedence.

Probably everyone accepts that this can only be properly taken advantage of by those who actually live in or nearby AC--maybe even as far as Philly. And, regardless of the games Revel has available for freeplay afterwards, the question then becomes can YOU really walk in 20 times to play your freeplay thru ONCE, even if the machines are their usual frustrating annoyances - and leave? Only at that point will this extraordinary promo approach being "worth" it.

Which brings me to the final point: Why is everyone talking about this in terms of losing? How about hitting some lucky big winner early on and NOT having to trek back to the place 20 times when they tell you to?

My comments were more in reply to the thread that this was a "cannot lose" proposition.

Anything

has the ability to be profitable but if the free slot play rebate is

less than dollar for dollar, then this becomes a gamble. Perhaps a good

gamble but it is not a sure thing. And the lower the potential return

for the free slot play rebate the more of a gamble it becomes.

Am I wrong?
