You go to Brand X casino to work a promotion. There are five machines with non-linked dollar 9-6 Jacks triple meter. The meters are on the RF, SF, 4K, and they rise at 0.1%. You check the machines to see which one has the highest quad meter. On four of the machines the quad meters are between $125 and $126. On the 5th machine the quad meter is at $175.76. You become suspicious that this meter is resetting higher than $125 because $175 is way to high for a 0.1% meter. You sit down on the machine and play until you hit a quad. The meter resets at $175. Would you keep playing that machine or move to one of the others.
Same machines, different situation. One of the machines is racking points at twice the rate of the others. Would you play that machine or move to one of the others.
Same machines, different situation. The meters aren't resetting when the quad is hit. They just keep going up. Would you quit the play because of it.
These are all situations I've been involved in in the past.
