[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 7 MAY 2013

I wish Bob and Shirley the best.  I've never me Bob, but look forward to it some day.  I will personally keep Bob in my prayers.

I don't know why, but for some reason, some people who don't like someone else (see some of the previous posts) seem to have a need to rub salt in the wounds. Bob was merely relating painful information that he believed important for others to know because he has always referred to Shirley in his writing for 17 years. I don't recall anyone complaining much when he was relating to life with Shirley along with valuable ideas to improve their VP play.

I didn't feel offended that he dared to tell this to readers.  I don't have skin that thin (even when I read someone writing some wacky idea about trusting in magic or luck when playing VP).  Why would what Bob wrote bother someone, or invoke a need for others to judge or make negative comments?  Obviously I'm sad for Bob, but when it comes to being judgmental, I choose to remove the log from my own eye first before pointing out the splinter in my neighbor's.  I believe most other people do the same.
