RE: [vpFREE] getting casino stink out of your skin, was Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column

I will be going through the same thing as Bob in two years. My wife is unwilling to move to Vegas. I have begged her to no avail. She would be a perfect partner since she is Sr. Accountant( Controller).
My backroll would be twice as big with her.
Best wishes to Bob. I've met both bob ans shirley at one of his seminars and both people were very cordial. The only thing constant in life and gambling is CHANGE.

I got the impression that his (now) ex and he decided, together, they didn't have enough in common to continue.

I also believe he shared the column with her before publishing and she gave her ok.

As a 'public' figure, Bob felt he needed to offer an explanation, and the nuances between here and there must be many.

I wish it hadn't happened, as there was a certain amountof vicarious enjoyment this perpetually single man got outof the idea of a successful couple. (If it can happen to aprofessional VP gambler in Vegas, it can happen to me.)

But in the meantime, Bob did the best he could with a badsituation, was as 'frank' as he could be in the situation andthat's probably as much as 'we' can ask.

I personally had the 'until death do us part' reaction afterreading it, but upon reflection, let us all realize there isfar more to any 'news' than meets the eye.

Bob and Bonnie, good luck to both of you.

Now let's get back to discussing VP and related?

It gets absorbed into your skin and it takes days for it to sweat back out. Also bad for the eyes, as in lens replacement surgery. Of course plenty of people don't let COPD stop them from gambling, they just lug their oxygen tanks into the casino.
