Actually the "Illinois" structure was first introduced at the Four Queens several years before it appeared in IL and the airport. However the Four Queens version required only 4 quarters per hand and the royal paid the full $1,000 so that is a better but still sub 100% game.

Just as a little history on the nomenclature here... First there was full
pay deuces and then around the same time Foxwood casino, Illinois, and the
LV airport came up with a reduced schedule basically with 3/4/4/9/15/25
structure, significantly worse than FP deuces. The tags Foxwood deuces,
Illinois deuces , and Ugly ducks came about to describe this pay schedule.
These machines were always packed at Foxwoods, very hard to get on a a
machine. Even though the Casino was making a steady 1 -3 % on this action,
they decided to get greedy and reduced the schedule further to what I would
call Ugly Foxwood Deuces or UFD. Please don't patronize this game its an
insult to Deuces players everywhere , I'm still pissed at them taking out
the FD's years ago.
best...Tom

First off this game is nowhere near NSUD it is VUD, Very ugly ducks. The
return on this game at reset is %97.0554.
I would advise you to get hold of a tutorial program to do the in depth
analysis that you seek.
There is a free one still available at Jim Wolf's website .

I've taken to playing (recreationaly only so don't jump on me please) a
progressive quarter NSUD game at Foxwoods. It is 97.06 at reset and the
paytable is:
1-2-3-4-4-9-12-20-200-800
3 questions.
1. Are there any major (no penalty cards please) variations with NSUD?
2. What is the correct no deuce 2 card royal hold (over razgu) in this game
at reset? I'll take any penalty card distinction.
3. At what point (these are quarter progressive machines) does it become the
right play to hold an ace high 2 card no deuce royal? I'll take the penalty
card numbers on this one too.
Thanks in advance
