I don't agree. John's always been a decent writer. He's interesting & straightforward, and unlike a few others, I've never seen him make anything up or contradict himself just to complete a column. And of course he writes mainly for those wanting to learn. The rest already know everything.
Mickey, maybe he knew you're good at challenges and an expert at adjusting :)

How many Captain Obvious hacks do we need writing 1000 words on whether or not to hold a kicker? I could spew out drivel like that in my sleep. Or create a SpewBot to do it for me. How bout something original or useful, Dr. J?
As for his sellout to Williams -- if you can call it that, since he likely received nothing of value in return -- perhaps the good doctor prefers to save his best material for the other side.
