I don't have any experience with Stations. At Main Street Station and the Cal, you could certainly see a host and they give you a pretty generous meal comp. At MSS, the folks in the slot club can give you a comp to the buffet for pretty minimal play. The advantage of a buffet pass there is that it includes a line pass, and the lines there can get pretty long. You'll definitely get good mailers from Boyd.
I haven't had as much success getting meals comped at Orleans and Gold Cost, but I don't play at nearly your levels. There's no $1 job at Orleans.
If you go to Main Street Station, the only $1 JOB machines I know of that give 1 point for $1 coin-in are the bartops. The 9/6 slant-tops are on machines that also offer 10/7 Bonus, so unless something has changed, they take $3 coin-in for one point.
