They have always refunded the difference in the membership fee if I did not
make it up in the additional rebate. You might ask about that at your local
Costco.

Does anyone on the board use a Costco Executive membership? I have been
using my Costco Gold membership for Las Vegas rental cars with good results.
I'd like to know if the additional car rental discount of the Costco
Executive membership is worth the additional membership cost of $55 per year
($55 for Gold vs. $110 for Executive).
