Notice how important that meter feed rate is here! The slower the meter(s)
rise, on average the longer the "drop" has to work on your bankroll.
In the Chicago area it is typical to have a 1/4% rise on the Minor Meter and
a 1/8% rise on the Major Meter. (These are the rates for the Rivers which is
$50-$100 for the Minor and $250-$500 for the Major and the Majestic Star
which is $25-$50 for the Minor and $250-$500 for the Major.) I estimate the
"drop" at 14% for both casinos. I need over $98 to play Minor or $495 to
play Major at the Rivers.
