I was just there the other night, 9pm on a Tuesday. Place was an absolute ghost town. Their new sign looks pathetic, 3 large letters with the outline of the old lettering still visible. The room rates, especially for the nicer suites, are ridiculous, for a property so far off the beaten path.
The sports book VP inventory is still there, at least the deuces wild machines, and the machines are super old. I had a good time playing loose deuces but felt at any time I could be mugged inside the casino. The place was so dead. I mean it was worse than the Riviera where I was staying, and that place is a graveyard.
These places should be lettings folks book some of the fancy suites for peanuts or offering free buffets to anyone who walks in the door. They're simply not going to survive against all the action at center strip.
