You can pick out an example of crime from anywhere. Casinos are one of the safest entertainment environments to be in for families. For years I carried tens of thousands of dollars on me on weekly trips to Nevada and I never felt safer than when inside them. Security personnel and cameras everywhere are a big deterrent to all but the dumbest bad guys.

I have to dispute that statement. Vacation spots are generally chosen for their relatively crime free nature while casinos are crime magnets.
