All the promotions work on machines that have 9/6 Jacks or Better as the best game, they do not work on any machines that have NSUD. There are stickers on the machines that are not good for promotions ,close to the card reader, telling you that they are not good for promotions so you will be able to figure out which you can't do the 3x points promotion on.
You may be interested in going on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday which is usually the day that they give out gifts since they let you combine all their promotions.
As far as downloading the free play you can do it on any video poker machine, there are no restrictions on that.
