Hi Gang:
I want to assure everyone that Hedy and I are alive and well ... and on a
roll. In fact, we topped off an amazing five-week period since the turn of
the year this past weekend with a pair of major hits by Hedy, a 4K royal in
diamonds off a two-card draw and another 4K hit on $2 aces with a kicker.
We've totally wiped out our loss of 2011 and are continually amazed at our
uncanny success with DDB, especially with the aces and a kicker hand, which
we've hit five times in the last three weeks.
I guess the "starting the year off on the right foot" move was a wise one.
I haven't been posting too much about our travels lately because we been
heavily involved in two other major projects (more on that in a couple of
weeks) and have been busy planning some upcoming trips.
Right now, we are gearing up for a seven-day cruise out of New York on the
Norwegian Jewel -- we leave Saturday -- then the AtLarge Poker Tournament
at the Taj March 9-11 and a weekend trip to Harrah's St. Louis March 23-25.
We'll be at Harrah's AC this Thursday into Friday hoping to keep the good
times rolling.
