There is no prevention currently in place in America. None! Currently the best treatment strategies involve waiting for the bodies to hit the rocks and trying to reattach the severed shattered pieces.

So my goal with this interview is not to ruin people's fun. Quite the opposite, my goal is to empower people without issues to have more fun. Of course some people may have issues, and for these folks my goal is to give them the tools to spot potential problems before it is too late. AKA, before they are broke and penniless.

This is noble work you and Dr. McCown are doing. It cant be very popular though, problem gamblers dont want to hear that they have a problem, and casinos are quite happy with the current system of treating people only once they are broke.

I wish you both much success in your endeavor. This research could save many people a lot of pain. Kudos to you!
