After Barona in So. Cal. first opened their new casino about 10 years
ago I played every weekend. The first year I had over 50 royals and
thought this was the place to come to get your money when you ran
short. Playing $2 9/6 early, early in a.m. when I drew two to hit
royal in hearts. Amanda came over and took picture, attendants did
paper work, unlocked the machine and went to get my $8000. Third hand
after they left I drew one to complete royal......in hearts. When
they came back with money they looked at screen and asked why I
hadn't played it off. I'm thinking they're gonna try to say this was
the royal they were now paying off when Amanda brings me the photo in
the little booklet they give jackpot winners. While explaining this
was a second royal in same suit I showed the picture which showed the
cards in different order. They went back to get the second $8000. and
Amanda got her very first $100. tip.
I had many more two in a day at Barona but not on same machine
(unless you count dealt royal on multi line). On a side note, took a
long time to pay off back taxes I didn't declare that year.
