I doubt I'll make it to the 22nd century, but the new OpVP 3 is a big
advance over all previous VP programs by actually training correct play
according to the strategy chart of your choice. When you make an error,
it highlights the best hold and your hold in the chart, tells you the
immediate cost of the error, and the long-term per-hour cost if you make
the same error every time the situation occurs.
Do you play progressives? Did you know the "break even" strategy yields
the lowest cost of a royal? OpVP calculates that, too. It also allows
you to work with a "basic" strategy (no penalty considerations) or apply
the penalties of your choice to the chart.
Available for Windows (2000 through Win 7), Mac OS X (10.2 through Lion)
and Linux (most Linux systems). Free demo downloads and discount prices
are available on my website.
