I talked my g/f into going with me tonight to the casino giving the hotseat drawings.
My girlfriend and I played 1 nickel each from 8:45 - 12 midnight in a 6/5 Bonus Poker machine because the 5c progressive was not high enough to warrant playing 5 nickels as we are low rollers and she wants us to minimize losses rather than maximizing wins. In 3+ hours, she hit 4 Aces twice, 4 3s and three other 4k. I hit 4A one time and 4-3's. No other 4k. She played through $78 and won $6. I played through $56 (I was visiting and chatting it up with some people) and won 75 cents. At 9 pm there were around 170 people playing the slots. Payouts are $250 on the hour and $150 every 15 minutes, with 1 random hourly drawing thrown in, making hot seat drawing of $850 per hour/ 170 players or $5/hour expected earnings for each of us. By 11:30 pm there were only 75 people playing making the expected earning to be a bit over $11/hour each. At 11:45 pm they drew Robin's name for $150.00 in free play, which will most likely convert to around 125.00 after one time through before we can cash. I don't think I will have any trouble convincing her how to spend some time with me at the casino. $11/ hour is more than she makes at work. The bad news is that you can only win one time a night at this particular casino.
